A group of Chestnut Mountain Elementary School students are getting on another bus after theirs was involved in a traffic accident this afternoon.

The driver and 29 students on board were not injured.

At 2:45 p.m. a Hall County bus was turning left on Poplar Spring Road into the Arbor Chase subdivision when another vehicle hit it from behind, said Hall County Schools spokesman Gordon Higgins.

One lane of Poplar Springs Road was closed when emergency personnel responded to the scene as a precautionary measure, he said.
