Hall County firefighters battled a mobile home fire overnight in North Hall County, Fire Chief David Kimbrell reported in a news release.

Crews responded to the 6200 block of River Run Circle after midnight and found smoke showing in a doublewide mobile home. The female occupant met the firefighters at the driveway and said the man remained inside.

Firefighters found the man in the rear of the home trying to extinguish the fire. He was led out and crews put out the fire.

Investigators believe the fire was caused by an electrical wire behind the bathroom vanity.

Fire and smoke damage was estimated at $2,000.
