Chateau Elan Winery & Resort in Braselton has announced the addition of Kevin Phenegar to its executive team as director of food and beverage.
Phenegar will be responsible for all food and beverage operations including planning and implementing the menu, oversight of personnel, food production, inventory and catering.
“We couldn’t be more proud to welcome Kevin Phenegar to our team to lead the charge,” said Glenn Tuckman, Chateau Elan general manager. “With his diverse experience and passion for the industry, we look forward to refreshing our program with his guidance.”
Phenegar brings more than 25 years experience. He served as food and beverage director at The Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Va., and at The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, N.Y., and as assistant director of food and beverage at Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, N.C. He was director of dining at The Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas. He also has worked with Doubletree and Hyatt Hotels.
