New STEM school should be ready by fall
0324stem1
North Hall High Principal Joe Gheesling shows where renovations will take place in the school to make way for the new STEM school opening this fall. The school’s old construction classroom will be part of the renovation which will prepare students to study engineering.
If robotics, mechanics and numbers sound exciting, Hall County’s newest school program may sound even more interesting. The school system plans to open a science, technology, engineering and math magnet school this fall on the campus of North Hall High School. It will be composed of about 30 to 40 freshmen housed in a converted wing of the school to start with.
