A 20-year-old man reported missing after attending the Rainbow Family Gathering in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest has been found.
Curtis Jay Elliott of Lumpkin County was found in Minnesota, according to the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office.
Other than saying he is alive, the sheriff’s office did not release any further details in a Facebook post Saturday.
Authorities previously said Elliott last spoke with friends and family on July 5 and was seen at the gathering between July 1 and July 4.
“His family is very concerned about his whereabouts. It is uncharacteristic of CJ to not contact his parents,” according to the sheriff’s office’s previous news release.
