The board of directors of the North Georgia Community Foundation has elected James McCoy as chairman for 2014. McCoy, who serves as president and CEO of the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce, is past president of the Rotary Club of Lanier-Forsyth and a Paul Harris Fellow. McCoy is also past president of the board for the Forsyth County Arts Alliance and was the founding chairman of the board for Mentor Me North Georgia.
