The Gwinnett County Police Department is seeking help in identifying an adult male whose body was found in a wooded area Wednesday night in Buford.

The body was found partially wrapped in plastic in woods off Woodward Mill Road near Satellite Boulevard. Although the victim has not been identified, authorities believe he has been dead for at least a week.

The cause of death is currently under investigation.

The department’s homicide investigators are asking anyone with information about the case or identity of the victim to call 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. Anonymous tips are welcomed and could earn the caller a $2,000 reward.
