Federal prosecutors said a South Georgia man has been sentenced to six months in prison for stealing children’s Social Security benefits. Authorities said 49-year-old Christopher Castleberry has been sentenced to a year and six months in prison for stealing his children’s Social Security Survivor benefits. Prosecutors said Castleberry’s wife died in 2001 and his sons began receiving benefits afterward.
