A man was injured this afternoon when he was struck in the head by a dead tree limb while he worked to saw down the tree, according to Capt. Scott Cagle with the Hall County Fire Services. The incident happened at about 12:40 p.m. in the 5100 block of Thompson Bridge Road. The man, who was alert and talking, was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center with moderate injuries.
