A 41-year-old Martin man died in an early Sunday wreck in Banks County. Mark Joseph Akin was driving south on Ga. 63 near Ga. 51 when his vehicle traveled onto the road's east shoulder and struck a guardrail, according to the Georgia State Patrol. Authorities believe he overcorrected and the vehicle ended up traveling to the west side of the road and overturning several times, throwing Akin from the vehicle.
