The most recent changes to Hall County’s proposed 2013 budget include a reduction in employee furlough days and reinstating contributions to employee retirement plans. Furloughs have been reduced from 12 days to three in the proposed fiscal year 2013 budget, which still has to be approved by the Hall County Board of Commissioners. It also includes a 2 percent contribution to employee retirement plans that, if approved, would kick in Jan. 1.
