Juvenile court judge sworn in as president of national council

Georgia Juvenile Court Judge Peggy H. Walker was sworn in Tuesday as president of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges at its 77th annual conference in Chicago, Ill. Walker, who presides over the Juvenile Court of Douglas County, was sworn in by Presiding Justice P. Harris Hines, Supreme Court of Georgia. During the past four years, Walker has served as NCJFCJ secretary, treasurer and president-elect.
