The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia’s Mutt Strut and Homecoming centennial celebration took place Saturday at Lakeview Academy. Dog Gracie Mae was voted Homecoming Queen in an online contest that netted the Humane Society $2,875, said Julie Edwards, director of development and marketing. The top two vote-getters alone brought in almost $1,700, Edwards said.
