How new road could ease traffic at UNG’s Oakwood campus

The Loop Road construction at University of North Georgia in Oakwood is underway Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, giving another entrance to the busy campus off Mundy Mill Road. The road will extend to the parking deck at the back of the campus.

The new Loop Road, which has a December completion date, will connect Mundy Mill Road and Facilities Drive, an on-campus road that leads to the public safety building and plant operations.
