Watch out for road closures and congestion in downtown Gainesville tonight around 5 p.m.

Gainesville High School’s homecoming parade is set to start at 6:30 p.m. and will stretch from the old Regions Bank to Peach State Bank & Trust, passing Luna’s Restaurant and Dress Up on its way down and back.

The parade will take over parts of Washington, West Academy, Spring and Green streets.
