Holiday prompts meeting date change

The Oakwood Planning Commission has rescheduled its monthly meeting because it conflicts with Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The commission normally meets on the third Monday of each month. MLK Day is always observed on the third Monday in January.

The board's meeting now is set for 7 p.m. Jan. 20. The board meets each month at City Hall, 4035 Walnut Circle.
