Hall County will conduct a test Wednesday morning of its weather alert system.
At approximately 10 a.m., Hall County Central Communications/E9-1-1 will conduct an audible test of the severe weather warning system. The sirens will sound for approximately three minutes, according to a news release from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
Sound tests will not be conducted if there is a severe weather watch or warning in effect for Hall County. The tornado sirens are tested using the wail alert tone once every three months.
Hall County’s Warning System is tested silently every morning at 9 a.m.
Hall County officials will also test their emergency mass notification system.
