Hall superintendent: Bathroom policies a local issue

Hall County School District Superintendent Will Schofield stuck to his previous stance on bathroom policies following a ruling by the Supreme Court on Wednesday that a Virginia school board can block a transgender male from using the boys restroom when school starts next month. “The Hall County School District expects individuals to utilize the restroom of their biological sex,” Schofield said. “Principals always have the ability to make private restrooms available to any individual that needs a reasonable accommodation.”
