A Hall County man is accused of having a lewd image of a minor on his home computer, according to authorities.
A cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and later involving the Georgia Internet Crimes and Children’s task force led to the arrest.
Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Derreck Booth said Nathren Armour, 60, was accused of having the image “of a child under the age of 14” between Dec. 12 and Jan. 17.
Warrants were obtained Wednesday, April 3, and Armour was booked that day in to the Hall County Jail on a charge of sexual exploitation of a child.
Booth did not provide information on the delay between January and April.
The case is still under investigation.
