A North Hall homeowner was attacked from behind Sept. 9 by a man who entered his Sardis area home, according to authorities.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the attacker, described as being a white man, about 6 feet tall, in his 20s or 30s, with a slender build and brown hair. He was wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and white shoes at the time of the attack.

The victim suffered minor injuries, but was able to follow the suspect out of the residence and get a vehicle description as the car sped away. It was described as possibly a white 2003-04 Mercury Sable.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, a witness in the subdivision saw a similar looking car fleeing “at a high rate of speed at approximately the same time.”

The incident report was not available as of press time Friday. The sheriff’s office declined to provide any further information regarding the victim.

Anyone with information about this case should call Investigator Brown with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office at 770-531-6889.
