The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County will hold a “Back to School Rally” for teens from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the Positive Place Club gym.

Teens from the entire community are invited to attend the free event. Comedian Toni Griffin, better known as “Griff,” will be the master of ceremonies for the rally. There also will be cheerleaders, dance groups, and a drum line from local middle and high schools performing.

“We are hosting this event because we feel that there is too little emphasis put on the education of our youth,” said Derrick Caldwell, teen director of Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County. “We want to make going back to school fun and help teens realize the importance of school to their future.”

Boys & Girls Clubs of Hall County provides more than 4,000 children and teens a safe place to go, ongoing relationships with caring adults, and life enhancing programs and experiences that build strong character and leadership qualities, serving more than 360 members every day.
