Gwinnett County police are looking for witnesses to determine who was at fault in a rollover crash Tuesday that killed a Flowery Branch man.

Officers responded around 5 p.m. Tuesday to the area of Interstate 85 southbound between Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and Sugarloaf Parkway to find a white Dodge Dakota resting on its side.

James McCrystal, 47, driver of the truck, wasn’t wearing a seat belt at the time and was ejected from the vehicle, according to the news release. He died as a result from his injuries.

Phray Meh, 20, of Clarkston reported to police following the wreck that she had been involved in a collision on I-85 involving her black Honda Pilot and a white truck, police said. She told investigators she had no detailed recollection of what happened in the wreck.

She was charged with vehicular homicide and hit and run, and transported to Gwinnett County Jail.

Witnesses reported a dark-color SUV was stopped on the interstate after the collision, and then left the scene, according to the release.

Multiple witnesses have already helped investigators have a clearer picture of what happened in the crash and will help complete the investigation. Anyone who might have seen the collision should call Gwinnett County Police investigator at 678-442-5628.
