An anonymous donor has issued a challenge for Good News Clinics in Gainesville: Raise $80,000 and the donor will match it dollar for dollar.Executive Director Cheryl Christian said that money could help the clinics serve some 3,000 patients, thus keeping up with a growing demand.The clinics’ services are available to any Hall County resident whose income falls below 150 percent of the federal poverty level, is uninsured and not eligible for Peachcare, Medicare or Medicaid. The number seeking those services is increasing by about 150 patients every month, Christian said.“That would be $160,000 that would enable us to keep up with the new patients that we’re seeing every month, 150 patients,” Christian said. “So that’s key.
