Gainesville property owners will soon find their tax bills in the mail.

Tax coordinator Dee Dee Stephens said the first of the split billing was mailed Tuesday and will be due Sept. 2.

Several options are available to pay the bill. Payments can be made online.

Bills can also be paid in person at the city administration building, 300 Henry Ward Way, or mailed to P.O. Box 2496, Gainesville, GA 30503.

Residents who had a change in name, assessed value or exemption won’t get the first billing.

The city mailed out 7,924 bills in the amount of $9,863,149.90.
