The Gainesville Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating a missing Gainesville woman who suffers from dementia.

Francis Virginia Brown was last seen at 5:20 a.m. Sunday morning leaving Northeast Georgia Medical Center at 743 Spring St. Gainesville. She was visiting her husband at the hospital but was not at home when he returned this morning to their residence on Takeda Drive. She also has not contacted any family members since Sunday.

Brown is white, 75 years old, 5-foot, 6-inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has brown eyes and short, gray hair and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing gray pants, a green shirt, slip-on shoes and a sweater.

Brown is believed to be driving a tan, 1999 Lincoln Continental with Georgia tag No. WV 3845.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Gainesville police at 770-531-2667.
