Gainesville police are investigating a home invasion that happened Tuesday morning off Browns Bridge Road.Officers were called at 7 a.m. to the 700 block of Paces Court near Skelton Road in reference to an apparent home invasion, said Cpl. Kevin Holbrook, Gainesville police spokesman.“The female victim has stated that she was entering her residence when two unknown male subjects forced their way into her apartment,” Holbrook said. “The subjects tied the female victim up, ransacked the apartment and took numerous items including the victim’s vehicle, which they left the scene in.”Holbrook said it appears the victim was targeted and it was not a random act.She did not require any medical treatment, he said. Descriptions of the suspects were not yet available.The stolen vehicle was later recovered on Royale Way by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
