The pedestrian bridge in downtown Gainesville will close Tuesday through May 31 for sidewalk repairs on the City Hall side. Construction project manager Barclay Fouts said the sidewalk is cracked where dirt settled following the construction. The cost of the repair is being paid by the contractor, Rogers Bridge Co.
