A Gainesville man is at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta following a two-vehicle wreck Sunday afternoon in South Hall.
Timothy Eugene King, 47, was driving a 2005 Harley-Davidson northbound on McEver Road when the motorcycle traveled onto the shoulder and hit a curb, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
King lost control of the motorcycle, which began to overturn through the median. As it went into the southbound lane of McEver, the motorcycle struck a 2002 Saturn driven by Guy Winford Gilstrap, 42, of Gainesville.
King was thrown from his motorcycle. He was later taken by helicopter to Grady.
Gilstrap’s condition wasn’t available.
The state patrol is still investigating the wreck, which took place 100 yards south of Gould Drive.
