A Gainesville man pleaded guilty on Monday to child sex abuse charges and was sentenced to life in prison, District Attorney Lee Darragh said. Corey Dave Smith was charged with several felonies, including aggravated child molestation, child molestation and enticement of a child for indecent purposes. At minimum, he must serve 37 years in prison.
