Gainesville High’s Pierce earns Philip Wright Award

Christy Pierce, a special education paraprofessional at Gainesville High School, was selected as a recipient of the 2018 Philip Wright Award.

The Philip Wright Award recognizes individuals annually for their service, commitment and advocacy for children with disabilities.

The award honors the legacy created by Wright, highlighting his commitment to improving educational services for students with disabilities in school districts within the Pioneer Regional Education Service Agency region.
