State Department of Transportation crews will be removing and repaving asphalt on Mundy Mill Road, Ga. 53, at the Interstate 985 Exit 16 ramp from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 p.m. Saturday, weather permitting.

Work will be eastbound on Mundy Mill and limit traffic to one lane. Drivers coming off I-985 on the southbound exit ramp will be forced to turn right as crews will be working in the left turn area.

If postponed by rain, the work will be rescheduled for June 12-13.

Motorists are advised to use extra caution in the work zone and observed reduced speed limits. Oakwood police will be on hand to enforce traffic laws.
