Students and educators in the Hall County school system are coming together to support the family of the late Frank Harris Jr., who was found dead in front of a Cleveland home early Monday.

Harris’ wife, Tami, is the music teacher at Hall County’s Tadmore Elementary School. Harris is survived by his wife and their three children, who attend North Hall Middle School and North Hall High School. Harris’ daughter, 18, is a senior at North Hall High. His sons, 15 and 11 years old, are in 10th and sixth grades, respectively.

Harris was a member of the First Baptist Church of Gainesville. According to a news release issued by the Hall County school system, the church’s Ministry of Caring has established a fund to help the Harris family.

Harris worked as a chaplain at Gainesville’s Compassionate Hospice and also served as a part-time youth minister at Pendergrass Baptist Church.

Donations can be marked to benefit the Harris family and mailed to 751 Green St. NW, Gainesville, GA 30501. Anyone seeking more information about the fund can call the Ministry of Caring at 770-534-8313.
