Shots were fired by law enforcement personnel during a traffic stop Tuesday night in north Forsyth that resulted in the man’s arrest and the seizure of drugs and money, though no one was injured. The incident occurred just before 10 p.m. at Jot Em Down and Gib Evans roads just west of Ga. 400 when deputies pulled over Vanus Nichols, a 34-year-old from Cumming. Nichols is a known drug dealer the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office had been watching, said the agency’s Maj. Rick Doyle.
