Flowery Branch woman accused of killing boyfriend
Sabrina Turner charged with manslaughter
Sabrina Turner, 48, of Flowery Branch, has been charged with voluntary manslaughter in the June 22 shooting death of her boyfriend.

A Flowery Branch woman was arrested for manslaughter on Saturday, June 22, after allegedly killing her boyfriend.

According to the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, Sabrina Banks Turner, 48, called emergency dispatch at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday to report that she shot 44-year-old Everton Carter at their shared residence in the 5100 block of Sable Court in Flowery Branch.

When law enforcement deputies and investigators arrived on scene, Everton was found dead from a single gunshot wound to the torso.

Turner was still at the scene and was taken into custody without incident.

“After being interviewed, (Turner) was charged with one count of voluntary manslaughter,” according to a press release. “No one else was in the home at the time of the shooting, and the investigation revealed that the incident appears to be domestic related.”

The case remains under investigation.
