Fire significantly damaged a mobile home on Clarks Bridge Road late Tuesday afternoon.

Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell said the single-wide, 14-foot by 60-foot home in the 3000 block was 50 percent involved with fire when firefighters arrived about 5:40 p.m.

The American Red Cross was called to assist two adults and three children ages 3,5 and 14.

The cause of fire appears to be space heater, Kimbrell said.

The road was shut down as firefighters battled the blaze, he said.
