Federal nutrition standards dont affect Hall Countys high-quality lunches

While school nutrition directors across the nation have lobbied for looser school lunch standards, Hall County Schools have no problem meeting high standards. A spending bill released Tuesday eases the standards requiring whole grains in school foods, according to the Associated Press. The bill is expected to be passed before the end of the year, a slightly compromising response to House Republican complaints.
