All lanes on Interstate 85 South were closed for about six hours Thursday morning following an injury crash that resulted in one man's death, according to officials from Georgia State Patrol.
Two vehicles struck each other one mile south of exit 149 on I-85 South. Baldwin resident Paul Gwynn, 55, was ejected from his car and killed, State Trooper Chris Kelch said.
The accident happened just after 6 a.m. All lanes of traffic were shut down for about six hours. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, Kelch said.
