The Georgia Department of Transportation has secured the right of way for the replacement of Clarks Bridge at Lake Lanier. But it is still working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on needed permits, said Teri Pope, a spokeswoman based in the DOT’s District 1, which includes Hall County. “The project is ready to be let once the corps approves,” she said.
