East Hall High School has added an Interact Club, a Rotary-based organization that implements guiding principles and seeks to serve others, like Rotary, but is for young adults.

Katherine Merck was elected president, Johan Rodriguez vice president, Jasmine Ruiz secretary and Nathan Parker treasurer.
Club sponsors are Beth Dudley and Staci Crain.

Rotary President Al Trembley and fellow-Rotarian Brannon Duncan approached EHHS with the opportunity to start Interact through the support of the Hall County Chapter. David W. Cooper, 2017-2018 District Governor of Rotary, inducted Katherine Merck and Nathan Parker last Tuesday at the Rotary luncheon at the Gainesville Civic Center.

Trembley said, “East Hall High School is a great fit with Hall County Rotary Club’s very first Interact Club. Everyone benefits from learning.

It’s not only about what Hall County Rotary members can share with the Interact Club members, but what our Rotary Club members can learn by working alongside these talented students.”
