Rushton firm founding partner Barclay Rushton has earned his Personal Financial Specialist credentials from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
With his PFS certification, Rushton provides estate, tax, retirement, risk management and investment planning advice.

3 from Hall County graduate from Ga. Academy for Economic Development
The Region 2 Georgia Academy for Economic Development Graduation was held Nov. 19 and three Hall County leaders were among the graduates: Joel Katz, Edward Mienie and Johnny Varner.
Class participants represented a number of professional and non-professional economic development fields, including elected officials, public servants, business leaders, educators and social service providers from 13 counties. The Academy provided each of the graduates an opportunity to understand the complexities of economic and community development on the local, regional and state levels.
Created in 1993, the Academy assembles a cross section of economic development professionals and resources to provide training in all 12 service delivery regions in Georgia.
