Hall students earn top-3 state finishes in Technology Literacy Challenge

Georgia Educational Technology Fair 2017, a project of the Georgia Educational Technology Consortium, has announced the state winners in the category of Technology Literacy Challenge.

A trio of Hall County students were honored by the group.

Chestatee High School’s Charles Thompson was the state winner in the 9th/10th grade division, while Flowery Branch High’s Christopher Spradlin took second in the 11th/12th grade division. North Hall Middle’s Jayden Asper took third in the 7th/8th grade division.

In the Technology Literacy Challenge, proctored online exams are given to each interested competitor during the regional competition.

The regional winners then compete in another online exam for the state competition. The exams have 50 multiple-choice questions.
