Women's business conference set May 6

A conference targeting women in business is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. May 6 at the Featherbone Center, 999 Chestnut St., Gainesville.

"Women in Business/A focus on Communication" is offered by the University of Georgia Small Business Development Center in partnership with the American Business Women's Association.

The evening will feature national radio personality and CEO coach Kimberly Jackson, author of the "Ready, Set, Move" coaching series. Her topic will be "How To Have Transformational Conversations."

The conference will include networking with business vendor opportunity, dinner and an internet marketing segment featuring Constant Contact Social Media Marketer Pamela Adams. The cost is $35 (before May 1), which includes boxed dinner. The vendor registration fee is $50. Registration is required due to limited tradeshow display space.
