McEver joins Willis Investment Counsel as assistant trader, portfolio administrator
Meredith D. McEver has joined Willis Investment Counsel as assistant trader and portfolio administrator.
In her new post, her responsibilities will include supporting the trading functions in connection with equity, fixed income, and option securities held in client portfolios, and performing a wide range of investment portfolio administrative functions.
McEver joins Willis after a career at Regions Financial Corp. that spanned almost 12 years. While there, she held the positions of senior regional operations manager, retail administration manager and lending center business analyst, among others.
"Her broad experience in the financial services industry, her commitment to the Gainesville area community, and her educational background and career focus combine to make her a splendid addition to our firm," Bob Pennington, Willis Investment Counsel's CEO, said of McEver.
McEver holds a BBA in accounting from the Cottrell School of Business at North Georgia College & State University, and an MBA from Brenau University.
Willis, located at 710 Green St. in Gainesville, is a 30-year old independent investment management firm.
