Brenau University’s Sandra Leslie, dean of the College of Education, was recently appointed by Gov. Nathan Deal to the Professional Standards Commission. The commission is responsible for ensuring certified and classified teachers and staff are prepared to teach and work in state classrooms, according to its website.
