The Boy Scouts of America Northeast Georgia Council were host to the 2014 Council Recognition Ceremony and Reception on Saturday at First Baptist Church on Green Street. Eleven volunteers received the Silver Beaver award, the highest honor a volunteer can received on the council level. The Northeast Georgia Council serves 32,000 youth and adult leaders in 26 counties.
