Man charged with robbery, then indecent exposure

A Gainesville man allegedly urinated in the parking lot while in custody in an armed robbery investigation, police said.

Yadreka Watkins, 36, was charged with armed robbery and indecent exposure, according to the Hall County online database.

Gainesville Police Cpl. Jessica Van said the armed robbery allegedly happened around 2 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, at the Glenn Cove Apartments on Norton Drive.

Watkins allegedly “demanded money/personal belongings from victims inside their vehicle in the parking lot,” Van said. “While in custody, he pulled his penis out and urinated in the parking lot,” Van wrote in an email.

Van did not specify how Watkins was identified as a suspect or how he was captured.

The allegedly stolen items — a necklace, camera and wallet — were recovered on the scene.

“There’s possibly an additional suspect, identified as a black male around 18 years of age, wearing all black, and wielding a gun,” Van wrote in an email.

Attorney information for Watkins was unavailable

The case is still under investigation.
