The Educational Foundation and Museum of Beulah Rucker Inc. will be holding a free back-to-school rally Saturday at the Georgia Mountains Center.

The group’s purpose in holding the rally is to stress to area children in first through 12th grades the importance of education. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the rally lasts from 3 to 5 p.m.

Several local groups will be attending to provide entertainment and information about education for both students and parents. Special guests will include DJs from Atlanta radio station 95.5, popularly called "The Beat."

Gift bags filled with school supplies will be given to the first 200 students, and door prizes will be awarded.
