A Gainesville man is accused of tying a dog to railroad tracks, “leaving it to be hit and killed by an oncoming train,” according to authorities. The incident happened last month off White Sulphur Road, as authorities received a call about a dog on the tracks. Gerardo Damian-Rosas was arrested Dec. 1 and faces a charge of felony aggravated animal cruelty.
