An Ellenwood man allegedly sent “pornographic photos and had sexually explicit conversations” with an investigator he believed to be a child, according to authorities.
Darrell Lee Quisenberry, 59, faces charges of attempted aggravated child molestation, furnishing electronic pornography to a minor and electronic enticement of a minor for indecent purposes from the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Quisenberry started talking to an investigator Sept. 13 on an Internet chat room.
Quisenberry allegedly believed the other person in the conversation was a child, authorities said.
“During those conversations, (Quisenberry) sent pornographic photos and had sexually explicit conversations with the investigator which he believed to be a child,” Hall County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Deputy Chad Mann wrote in a news release. “Subsequently, the male subject also arranged to meet the child for the purpose of sex.”
Authorities extradited Quisenberry on Friday from Henry County “on warrants stemming from undercover operations focusing on predators targeting children,” Mann said.
Quisenberry was booked into the Hall County Jail, where he remains without bond.
