Undercover Forsyth County sheriff’s investigators busted a teen party over the weekend in Cumming, officials said Tuesday.

Capt. Frank Huggins said authorities received word through their Campus Crime Stoppers tip line that an underage high school student was hosting a party at his parents’ Sawnee Trail home while they were out of town.

Investigators set up surveillance outside the house early Friday night and observed numerous underage people drinking alcohol and smoking marijuana.

At about 10:30 p.m., officers moved in and put a halt to the party. Ten people ages 17 to 19 were arrested and charged with misdemeanor alcohol or marijuana charges. A 24-year-old Alpharetta man was charged with furnishing alcohol to a person under 21.
